The 21 Best Hotels With Eiffel Tower Views for All Budgets

Eiffel Tower Tour

The Eiffel Tower is easily the top sight when visiting Paris, and having a hotel room with a view of it is one of the ultimate luxuries of staying here in the City of Light. Whether it’s your first time or your 15th, the tower never fails to enchant with its beauty and its romantic twinkling at night.

What exactly makes a steel tower so romantic is difficult to say. It might simply be the feeling that you really are there, in Paris, the most romantic city in the world. And waking up with the Eiffel Tower framed by your window is simply magical, even more so if you have a balcony and can sit there, looking at it with your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine in hand.

Visiting the tower is a must, especially for first-timers to Paris. You can decide to climb all the way to the top or opt for the elevator tour and zip up to the second level. That means the larger the Eiffel Tower looms in your hotel window, the closer you are to it, so you can sleep in a little longer before heading out to tour the tower.

And let’s face it, Paris might be a once-in-a-lifetime trip or a romantic weekend away you’ll remember forever or simply a reconnection with a city you love, but whatever it is to you, having the Eiffel Tower twinkling outside your window at night will only make it better.

Fortunately, there are plenty of hotels in Paris with views of the Eiffel Tower, including options for every budget. In this guide, I’ll share a few of the best to help as you begin planning your trip.

1. Shangri-La Paris

Budget: Luxury

Paris excels at super luxury hotels that gleam in grand old buildings, offering all the indulgences you could dream of, plus great views and a primo location. To kick off this list, I’m focusing on the best luxury hotels with Eiffel Tower views, beginning with Shangri-La Paris.

Located in the chic 16th arrondissement, this former city palace of Prince Roland Napoléon Bonaparte, the great-nephew of Napoléon I, is a stunning building.

If you’re staying in one of the Shangri-La Paris duplex suites, you’ll have your own balcony with the Eiffel Tower just there in front of you. The hotel is adorned with small images of bees, the symbol of Napoléon, popping up everywhere, and is steps away from Trocadéro.

2. The Peninsula Paris

Budget: Luxury

The art deco George V hotel lies within the so-called Triangle d’Or, the Golden Triangle of Paris, made up of the three most famous fashion avenues of Paris:

  • Avenue de Champs Élysées
  • Avenue George V
  • Avenue Montaigne

This is the ideal location for a fashionista with super-luxe boutiques such as Chanel, Hermès, and Dior mere steps away. You can view the Eiffel Tower from your suite before heading down to the various Michelin-starred in-house restaurants to round off an extravagant day in Paris.

4. Le Meurice

Budget: Luxury

Although fairly far from the Eiffel Tower if you’re looking at a map, Le Meurice (part of the Dorchester Collection) nevertheless allows great views across the adjacent Tuileries Gardens, past Place de la Concorde, right to the tower on the horizon.

But the location within the city center is unbeatable, steps away from the Louvre, the shopping along Rue Saint-Honore, and Opéra, which may well be the reason that so many celebrities stay here.

5. Hotel Plaza Athénée

Budget: Luxury

Right on the leafy Avenue Montaigne and adorned with those oh-so-Parisian balconies with red geraniums and beautiful window shades, the Plaza Athénée is, after the Ritz, probably the most stylish address in town.

But, unlike the Ritz, the Athénée offers you those Eiffel Tower views. And you can even celebrate its proximity to the tower by having the iconic landmark adorning the rather yummy hot chocolate served downstairs.

6. Hotel St. Regis

Budget: Luxury

Not many of the luxury hotels in Paris are boutique, but the Hôtel San Régis is small, with only 42 keys, located in a townhouse rather than taking over an entire block.

And this makes it utterly charming. Book the Terrace Junior Suite for that classic Eiffel Tower view from your private balcony.

7. Hotel Balzac

Budget: Luxury

If you want to feel like Marie Antoinette for the night, the Hotel Balzac offers not only rooms and suites with Eiffel Tower views but also canopied beds, textured wallpaper, and thick velvet curtains.

Close to the Champs Élysées, the rooms can be a little on the plush side, but the modern restaurant downstairs provides an antidote.

8. Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel

Budget: Mid-tier

As proximity to the Eiffel Tower goes, there is no closer hotel than the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel, the tower is so close that you will actually have to zoom out to fit it into your picture.

From the outside, it’s not the prettiest hotel, but it makes up for that in location. Try the rooftop terrace for extra special views.

9. Hotel La Comtesse

Budget: Mid-tier

There are not many hotels in Paris where you can book a normal room, rather than a suite, where the window opens to the Eiffel Tower, and even fewer which are affordable. Hotel La Comtesse, at the bottom of the Champ de Mars in the 7th arrondissement has you covered.

10. Le Parisis – Paris Tour Eiffel

Budget: Mid-tier

Right on the Boulevard de Grenelle, a street famous for its fabulous market, Le Parisis is perfect for a comfortable stay just steps from the Eiffel Tower.

Pro tip: Enjoy relaxing in the gorgeous green yard when you want some time outdoors away from the crowd.

11. First Hotel Paris Tour Eiffel

Budget: Mid-tier

Just a few steps from the Le Parisis, the location is the same, but the vibe and interior design of the First Hotel is a little more masculine, with plenty of dark hues. That said, if you get a room high up with the Eiffel Tower views, you’ll love the wrought-iron balcony setting.

12. Hotel Maison FL

Budget: Mid-tier

Located just across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower, near Trocadéro, is the Maison FL. This hotel offers grand views of said tower as long as you book the top floor apartment or the rooftop suite, in which case the price of the night is more luxury than mid-tier, but the private terrace is rather lovely.

13. Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel

Budget: Mid-tier

The location for this Parisian hotel is great, right by the Seine, next to the Australian embassy, and steps away from the Eiffel Tower.

Though the Mercure Paris doesn’t offer the best first impression with its bland modern architecture, rooms are fairly affordable and themed for the Eiffel Tower. However, only the Privilege Rooms on the top floor will give you those essential Eiffel Tower views.

14. Terass Hôtel

Budget: Mid-tier

Quite far from the Eiffel Tower but making it up for it by being located on the hill of Montmartre, one of the city’s favorite neighborhoods, the arty Terass” hotel offers a few rooms which not only have views to the Eiffel Tower but also the entire city spread out below you.

Throw in one of Paris’ best rooftop bars, and you’re onto a winner.

15. Le Walt by Inwood Hotels

Budget: Mid-tier

A beautiful artsy boutique hotel near Le Parisis and First Hotel, Le Walt offers a lovely experience for those interested in art, and you can even stay in a former artist’s studio, filled with light. That studio doesn’t have Eiffel Tower views, but those higher up do.

It’s a cute hotel for a unique stay.

16. Les Jardins d’Eiffel

Budget: Bargain

A three-star hotel steps from the Eiffel Tower and with wonderful views across the rooftops to the tower itself is a rarity, but the little Les Jardins d’Eiffel hotel delivers. It even comes with a private garden.

Local tip: Make sure you ask for Eiffel Tower views when booking, preferably in French.

17. Hotel Duquesne Tour Eiffel

Budget: Bargain

At the bottom of the Champ de Mars close to Les Invalides lies the three-star Hotel Duquesne Eiffel, where the superior balcony and corner rooms offer heavenly views of the Eiffel Tower. You can lie in bed at night and watch that Eiffel Tower sparkle right in front of you. Considering you don’t have to pay a fortune for the privilege, it doesn’t get much better than that.

18. Elysées Union

Budget: Bargain

Located by Avenue Kléber, roughly halfway between the Arc de Triomphe and Trocadéro, the Hôtel Elysées Union technically has Eiffel Tower views, though you might have to lean out of the window and crane your neck a bit.

What makes this hotel stand out a little is that you get various sized rooms, including an apartment, which is a great fit for groups of friends or families.

19. Splendid Hôtel

Budget: Bargain

Just off Avenue Emile Zola in the bustling 15th arrondissement and steps from the gorgeous Café du Commerce lies the simple but very comfortable Hotel Splendid

The Double Room with Eiffel Tower views offers just that, so you get great views at a budget price.

20. Hotel Muguet

Budget: Bargain

Nestled into a quiet side street off Avenue de la Motte-Picquet and not far from the market street of Rue Cler is the small, family-run Hotel Muguet. Comfortable rooms in various sizes for singles as well as families, offer views of the city, Les Invalides or — yes, of course — the Eiffel Tower.

21. Ibis Tour Eiffel Cambronne

Budget: Bargain

Right by metro stop Cambronne, steps from the Champ de Mars, the hotel has a great location. Plus it’s modern with rooms and bathrooms that are simple but spacious enough, and some even come with that coveted Eiffel Tower view, which you don’t normally get for this price class.

I don’t normally recommend Ibis Hotels — sometimes budget is simply too budget. But in the case of the Ibis Tour Eiffel Cambronne, it’s actually not bad at all for the price.

Paris Hotels With Eiffel Tower Views
